Skilled and knowledgeable Nashville criminal defense lawyer

Born and raised in Nashville, Vince Wyatt graduated from Vanderbilt University. After college, he served as the Chief Bill Clerk in Chief Clerk of the Tennessee House of Representatives Office for the 100th General Assembly.

Upon graduating from The University of Memphis School of Law, Vincent entered the United States Navy Judge Advocate General’s Corps. As Trial Counsel at the Trial Service Office Southeast, Vincent prosecuted 73 courts-martial. Bench and jury trials included cases of rape, child molestation, sexual harassment, drug distribution, larceny, child pornography, and various other offenses.

Vincent transferred to the Naval Legal Service Office Southeast in 2004. As a legal assistance attorney, Vincent provided legal counsel to and negotiated on behalf of clients in the areas of consumer law, landlord/tenant law, real estate, adoption, immigration, domestic relations, and estate planning. He drafted hundreds of wills, living wills, powers of attorney, leases, contracts, and separation agreements.

Vincent was honorably discharged from the United States Navy in 2004, and, shortly thereafter, joined the law firm of Hollins, Raybin & Weissman.

His practice is primarily devoted to criminal law. He has represented hundreds of clients charged with felony and misdemeanor criminal offenses—including murder, vehicular homicide, drug offenses, and numerous DUI and other alcohol-related offenses. He also handles a variety of civil matters including personal injury, probate, wills and estate planning.
